Poznańska 13 is an apartment block adapted from a regenerated historic house. The project contractor was Ipeco, a company that brings pre-war buildings back to life. The house at 13 Poznańska Street underwent a major renovation, which brought it up to the highest standard required from modern buildings, while preserving its unique, historic character. The entrance gate was renovated with greatest attention to detail, and the style of the facade was also preserved. At the same time, the designers introduced all amenities that are necessary for comfortable and safe living: lifts, modern installations and fire-resistant doors.
The original layout was only preserved in some apartments, most of them being refitted from scratch. That way small studios were sectioned off to offer appealing accommodation to singles. The apartments are characterised by original above-standard height, which creates great fit-out opportunities, e.g. for a mezzanine design.
What makes this project particularly attractive is its location. Poznańska Street is the heart of the Warsaw district of Śródmieście, the part of the city where historic developments harmoniously coexist with modern skyscrapers. Poznańska 13 is a perfect location for all enthusiasts of big-city life, everything within close reach. It is only 1 kilometre away from the Warsaw Central Station hub and right next to a metro station. Convenient connections provide rapid access to the airport and other areas of the city. Poznańska Street and neighbouring streets of Śródmieście are also home to stylish eateries, clubs and boutiques.
